Had DC jack replaced for laptop. Collection and delivery by DPD very efficient. Laptop came back in better condition than I sent it as well as jack being repaired. All other facilities checked. even heatsink and fan cleaned. Really impressed, service excellent.

After hawking my sons Toshiba laptop around various local computer shops for repair quotes and speaking with Toshiba themselves I had almost resigned myself to a £150 repair bill. What a pleasure it was to deal with Cambridge Laptop Repairs who diagnosed the fault as a faulty charger and not the DC jack as previously thought. Door to door service, kept fully up to date of progress via email and phone.

Stunning service. My 2009 MacBook had a cracked screen & Apple quoted over £300 for a replacement. Googled the options and found Cambridge Laptop repair, so I sent an enquiry email. I received a reply within the hour (and bear in mind this was on a Sunday), quoting a price of £135 including courier pickup and delivery. Got it booked in on Monday, collected on the same day, and back to me within 3 days. Every step of the repair was emailed to me, so I always knew what the status was, and I received a call when it was finished, telling me that it’d be shipped back that day. I was offered a RAM upgrade at the same time, and was fully expecting an inflated price. When I was offered a +4GB upgrade for £38, I had that done, too, and received the laptop back, working perfectly, and in pristine condition – they’d even polished it! Absolutely faultless service – thanks!

I was really impressed with the quality of service. It was friendly, quick, not condescending nor patronizing but direct and to the point. The only downside is that I no longer have an excuse to go and buy a new laptop!
